I have read more than once, that people have been interested in barter/trading/exchanging, coins here on GIM.

I just noticed and attached the above link. I found it through the official NGC website. Seems as though the guy just started it this evening.

I'm gonna give it a, look-see myself. I posted it in case anyone else finds it of any interest?

I am in no way affiliated with it. Maybe anyone/everyone interested can keep us posted here and let us know if it is worthwhile?

One of the rules so far seems as though, you need to have collections listed with NGC or PCGS. In order to fully participate.

Yeah, cool, glad to see others (Or at least you, Naccarato) find it interesting.
I'm starting off with small stuff first, to give it a feel.
The guy running the site sent me an e-mail that, whoever joins by, Jan 30th.. Gets founding member status... For what ever that is worth to anyone. I think it is a nice gesture, the guys seems so far to be, on the ball.
Good Luck to all. I just hope some people find it helpful. Although I am cautious, I'm gonna give it my Boyscout best. I'm hoping others here find it useful and positive.

I took a look and like the concept. Still pretty thin on the available inventory.

I am quite leery of trusting a stranger with a $1000 FRN value coin. Not to mention throwing your home address out there to who knows whom.

Good to hear you took a look. I agree with so many of your posts and respect what you think.

As for the, $1,000 coin. I agree with that too... I'm starting out with very, very low valued coins myself.

As for my address for all to see? No way, I'm not trading with anyone till we have a solid agreement and talk on the phone, to settle the deal!
All in due time, babysteps. Nonetheless, glad to know you'll be checking it out and look forward to what ya think.

PS I've been having lots of trouble posting as well. I think we all are?

I signed up and checked it out. Is still thin but the site is brand new...

Hey Ozzy, I signed up there also, same name. This fits into my theory when people ask how are you going to sell your PM's. I say in the future when PM's become more popular there will be plenty of places popping up willing to get at your stash. Not that I'm selling now, not even close. Just buying.

Maybe you can talk NGC into grading some of your uzi's. When TSHTF you can barter, a MS-70 uzi for a hundred pounds of some prime angus beef... Glad to to see we have your protection on board. Look forward to your honest and straight up thoughts about the site.
